Whittlesey Gun Shop in Cambridgeshire was established in 1984 by Dave Shipman. Since then the business has moved forward to being one of East Anglia’s leading Gunshops.

Dave commenced his career in the gun trade with Gallyons of Peterborough and then managed Shelton’s of Peterborough gun department for 4 years before he opened Whittlesey Gun Shop.

He has a keen interest in game shooting, wildfowling, deer stalking, pigeon shooting and clay shooting.

He has participated in the New Pigeon DVD “Exceptional Red Letter Day” with well-known Pigeon expert Jim Albone!!

Teaching clay shooting for over 20 years he has also represented Cambridgeshire in their Sporting Team in 2008, coming 4th overall in the Cambridgeshire Championship.

Dave organises clay shooting from May – August at the Basinally Pits situated close to Whittlesey, where he has helped many people to start their shooting career. He can give clay tuition on a ONE TO ONE basis or groups of up to 10 people.

Whittlesey Gun Shop has a large specialist air weapons section, air rifles and pistols and in the gun room there is an extensive stock of shotguns and rifles .22-to-300w mag.

There is also a wide range of country clothing by Le Chameau, Beretta, Allan Paine Grassroots, Jack Pyke, Deerhunter, Seeland, Top Gun and Hucklecote.

The wide range of shooting accessories include cartridges by Express, Eley, Victory, Gamebore and Rio.
